Early Childhood Classes
Early childhood classes for you and your baby or toddler
build strong parent-child bonds. Early childhood classes help
your child develop language and communication skills, physical
and social abilities, and become better prepared for preschool
settings. Parents and caregivers enjoy interaction and mutual
support as well as insights and suggestions from our professional
early childhood staff.

Discovery Playgroups
Preschool Prep! Foster imagination, curiosity and play while
preparing your child for preschool in this parent-child class
designed for children ages 2 to 3 years. Through music, movement,
storytelling and circle time, children will learn valuable
social skills and become familiar with the activities and
routines of a preschool setting. Parents and caregivers will
learn about child development and age-appropriate behavior.
Time for snack/lunch included (bring your own bag lunch).

Move and Groove!
Toddlers ages 2 to 3 years will sing, wiggle,
twist, and whirl to a variety of tunes. Through music, movement,
and instrument play, toddlers will explore the space around
them and discover new ways to move and control their bodies.
Toddlers will also learn the basic concepts of melody, rhythm,
beat, tempo, rhyme, and improvisation.

Let's Do Lunch
Enjoy a weekly lunch date with your toddler!
Play with, learn about and eat delicious culinary creations.
Little chefs in training will wash fruits and veggies, pour
and stir ingredients, pat and press dough, use basic utensils,
follow recipes, set the table, and prepare a yummy and healthy
lunch. Expose tiny taste buds to foods from many cultures,
meet new friends, and celebrate the joys of sharing a meal.
Every child will receive a chef’s hat and take home
a copy of each week’s recipe.

Fairytales & Super Heroes
Dress-up and imaginary play for children 3-4 years old - using
capes and costumes, crowns and fairy wings children will become
princes or princesses, goblins or trolls and will act out
stories, play games, sing and dance, and create stage props,
art and sculpture. Parent participation welcome.

Back to the Farm
We'll teach your 3-4 year old some simple-old fashioned crafts
like making jam, baking bread and churning butter. Learn about
planting seeds and growing and preparing food. Children will
also enjoy square dancing and some fun farm-themed games.
Parents will receive a game book to take home.
